Granny gave Carson this book that belonged to his Great Aunt Alana. It is titled "Walt Disneys Treasury - 21 Best-Loved Stories". Inside is handwritten "Alana Woolley Christmas 1960". Carson loves for Chad to read the stories in this book to him, but he especially loves for Chad to read "De Tar-Baby". Chad does all sorts of voices for the characters and is quite animated about it all. Carson just eats it up!

While living in our townhome in Payson, we wanted to put a swing on the porch. We originally got one of the red "bucket" type swings that is for babies and toddlers, but as Carson got older, we wanted to get him an actual swing. We went to the store, Lowe's, I think, and decided on this disc style swing. I wasn't too into it at that point, thinking a "normal" swing would be better. But, Chad put it up and Carson has spent hours on it! When we moved to Provo, it was one of the first things to go up in one of our large front yard trees. Carson still loves swinging on it and so do all the neighborhood kids!

When we moved into our house, none of the rooms were painted. Although this was great for us since we basically had a "clean slate", it was also really boring! We love color on the walls and after much consideration about the color, we were ready to paint! Well...Chad was, anyway. I mostly supervise!

You can see the "before" photo and the after photos. Granny gave us a very generous monetary gift for Christmas, with which we were able to update some of the appliances in our kitchen as well. We updated our stove, dishwasher, sink, disposal and faucet. Basically, a brand new kitchen! It was and is wonderful.
